Chris E. Aniedobe, Esq. is a registered Patent Attorney and practices in all aspects of intellectual property and business law. He has extensive experience in patent and trademark law, including patent preparation and prosecution; patent litigation; pre-litigation analysis, patent reissue and reexamination proceedings; interference practice; strategic national and international patent portfolio development and management; patentability, validity, invalidity, infringement, freedom to operate, due diligence opinions, and design patents.
Chris has drafted and prosecuted hundreds of patents worldwide in the chemical, biotechnological, and pharmaceutical arts. These include diverse areas such as biotechnology, cellular and molecular biology, immunology, drug delivery, organic and inorganic chemistry, polymers, medical therapeutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, oncology, medical devices and diagnostics, nanotechnology, bioinformatics, computer-assisted business methods, and mechanical arts.
In addition, he is also highly experienced in the areas of licensing and technology transfer, intellectual property due diligence, intellectual property opinions, IP transactional counseling, patent and trademark appeals and oppositions at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, intellectual property litigation, and business development. He assists clients with strategic issues involving the acquisition, development, leveraging, and patenting of their intellectual property.
